Dr Kamal regrets his reaction to journalists

Jatiya Oikyafront top leader Dr Kamal Hossain expressed his regret over Friday's incident with journalists.      

In a statement sent to media on Saturday, he regretted reacting to some reporters' queries regarding his position on Jamaat-e-Islami.

While speaking to journalists after paying tributes at Martyred Intellectuals Memorial in the city’s Mirpur area yesterday, the Oikyafront leader and eminent jurist apparently lost his temper and reacted angrily when a reporter drew his attention to some Jamaat leaders' participation in general election slated for December 30.
