'CEC hurts in the existence of an election commissioner'

Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukdar has alleged that the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda has hurt in the existence of an election commissioner.

"The honorable CEC on December 18 in Rangamati said that I told false about the level playing field for the December 30 general election and I strongly protest it. He has hurt in the existence of an election commissioner by saying this. He should carry it in mind that all the election commissioners, including the CEC, are equal," he said. 

Mahbub Talukdar said this to the journalists after calling them in his office room on Wednesday noon.

Speaking to reporters in his office on Monday, Mahbub Talukder said, “I do not think there is any level playing field at all for the 11th general election. The phrase level playing field has become meaningless.”
