Case filed over Chawkbazar fire

A case has been filed over the devastating fire in capital's Chawkbazar which killed at least 67 people.  

Delowar Hossain, a sub-inspector of Chawkbazar Police Station, filed the case with the police station against unidentified people on Thursday night.   

Confirming the matter, Delowar Hossain said that some unknown people have been made accused in the case.   

At least 67 people were killed and around 41 others injured in the devastating fire that broke out at a chemical warehouse and raged through four other adjacent buildings in the city’s Chawkbazar area on Wednesday night.
