Rumour like child-lifting being spread over dengue: Sayeed Khokon

Rumours are being spread over the dengue situation like the child-lifting rumour, Dhaka South City Corporation mayor Sayeed Khokon has said.

The mayor came up with the remark while speaking at the inaugural of 'Week of Cleaning and Mosquito Killing' in the capital's Manik Mia Avenue on Thursday.

When asked, he said, "rumours are being spread over the dengue situation as like as the child-lifting rumour. The government will face it strictly."

It is an imaginary data that 3 lakh and 50 thousand people were infected with dengue, he added.
