Abrar's younger brother admitted to Kushtia Govt College

Abrar Fayez, younger brother of Abrar Fahad who was a student of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), was admitted to Kushtia Government College.

Barkat Ullah, Fayaz's father, went to the college with papers at around 3 pm on Thursday and the authorities concerned immediately admitted his son.

Kazi Manzoor Qadir, principal of Kushtia Government College, said, "Fayaz's father came to the college around three o'clock in the afternoon and submitted the papers. Then we immediately completed admission procedure of Fayaz.

From now on, Fayaz will be studying here and the highest importance will be given to his studies. His safety aspect on the college campus will also be seen with due importance, he added.

Earlier, Abrar Faiaz had taken Transfer Certificate from Dhaka College.

Abrar Fahad was tortured to death reportedly by BCL leaders at Sher-e-Bangla Hall of the university on October 7. He was found dead on the staircase of the dormitory.

The deceased’s father filed a case against 19 people with Chawkbazar Police Station.
