SUST student takes own life after writing 'suicide note'

A student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) allegedly committed suicide after writing a 'suicide note' on Thursday. 

The deceased is Bokul Das, 20, a student of Political Studies department of the university and a resident of Shah Paran Hall, said Zahir Uddin Ahmed, proctor of SUST. 

Bakul, son of Ramu Kumar Das of Lakhai Upazila of Habiganj, fell sick at around 1:30am and was rushed to Osmani Medical College Hospital where he died at 8:30am while undergoing treatment.

Jalalabad Police Station recovered a suicide note from his room where he wrote 'I m killing myself and no one is responsible for my death'.

The reasons behind his suicide could not be ascertained yet. Processing to file case was underway in this regard.
