Nusrat family to get security as long as needed: Law Minister

Law Minister Anisul Haq has said that police will provide security as long as security is needed for the family of Nusrat Jahan Rafi, a Feni Madrasa student who was burnt to death.

He said this at a press conference at his Gulshan residence in the capital around 11:45 am on Friday.

The minister said, “The papers will reach the High Court within seven days of the verdict. I hope the Supreme Court will settle it soon after the papers are brought to them. Also, Nusrat's family will be provided security as long as it is needed. If anyone threatens them, appropriate action will be taken.”
