Primary, Ebtedayee terminal exams begin

Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Ebtedayee Examinations-2019 begin on Sunday across the country.

A total of 29,03,638 examinees are taking part in the exams at 7,470 centres, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain said at a briefing held at his secretariat office on November 14.

As many as 25,53,267 examinees are appearing at the PSC examinations while 350,371 students are participating in Ebtedayee examinations this year, he added.

Among the PSC examinees, 11,81,300 are male and 13,71,967 female while 350,371 Ebtedayee examinees consist of 187,082 male candidates and 163,289 female.

PSC and Ebtedayee examinations are being held at 12 countries. 

The examinations will continue till November 24.
