Shakib Khan fined Tk 10 lakh

Actor Shakib Khan Rana has been fined Tk 10 lakh for constructing a building without following the approved design of Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) at Niketon in the capital.

A Rajuk mobile court led by executive magistrate Ashraf Hossain, fined the actor while conducting a drive in the area on Monday.

Mohammad Hosain, an authorized officer of area-4 of RAJUK, told media that the fine has been imposed for constructing the building violating the RAJUK-approved design.
