Khulna transport strike enters day three

An indefinite transport strike has been underway in Khulna for the third consecutive day on Monday to protest the implementation of new road transport law.

On Wednesday, no bus has left from Sonadanga inter-district bus terminal for Dhaka, putting passengers into untold sufferings.

President of Khulna Motor Workers Union Nurul Islam Baby on Tuesday said, "It is not possible to drive a bus taking the tension of the fines and penalties imposed under the new road transport law."
