Transport strike withdrawn

The goods transport owners and workers have withdrew their strike after getting assurance of the government to meet their three-point demand.

The decision came from a meeting between the government and the protesters.

An around four-hour long meeting held on Wednesday night at Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal’s residence in Dhanmondi in the city.
