‘Be the Change-Redefining the Stereotypes 2019’ begins Nov 23

JCI Bangladesh is going to organize a youth programme titled ‘Be the Change-Redefining the Stereotypes 2019’ at Helmut Kutin Auditorium, SOS Hermann Gmeiner College Dhaka on November 23. 

More than 550 young people will be joining the event as participants where students, young professionals and entrepreneurs, JCI members will attend, said a press release. 

The strategic partner for this event is SOS Children’s Villages Bangladesh.

CV collection booths will be set up at the venue for the youths.

Some 14 speakers will influence the youth to break their societal stereotypical biases and bring positive changes in the society. 

This year’s speakers include Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury, MP, Confidence Group Vice Chairman Imran Karim, FBCCI Director Amzad Hussain, Grameenphone CHRO Syed Tanvir Hossain, KITC Ltd Country Director and CEO Zara Mahbub, iflix Country Head (Bangladesh & Sri lanka) Rean Rahman, ULAB Business School Dean Prof. Imran Rahman, Sheba.xyz Co-Founder lmul Haque Sajib, International Fashion Designer Humaira Khan, AIUB BBA Program Director Farheen Hassan, Youngest Cardiac Surgeon in Asia Asraful Huque Sium, Standard Chartered Bank's Bangladesh Commercial Banking Managing Director Md. Enamul Haque, Apollo Hospitals Principal Dietician Tamanna Chowdhury, Flag Girl Founder Priota Iftekhar.

The convener of the program is Erfan Haque, National Secretary General, JCI Bangladesh while its co-convener is Ziaul Haque Bhuiyan, International Affairs Commissioner, JCI Bangladesh. 

Junior Chamber International (JCI) is a worldwide organization of young professionals and leaders between the ages of 18 and 40. 

The organization works in over 120 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world.

The work of JCI is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsi¬bility, fellowship, and entrepreneurship necessary to create positive change.
