92 new dengue patients hospitalised in 24 hrs

Some 92 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours till 8am on Sunday.

Forty-six of them were hospitalised in Dhaka while the rest of them outside the capital city, according to the Directorate General of Health Services, reports UNB.

Since January, 99,545 people were hospitalised with dengue. Of them, 98,745 made full recovery.

Currently, 536 patients, including 262 in the capital, are being treated at different hospitals.

The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research has received 264 reports of dengue-related deaths. It has reviewed 193 of them and confirmed 121 deaths.
