HC asks to submit Khaleda's health report

The Appellate Division of the Supreme Court has asked concerned authorities to submit health report on BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia in Zia Charitable Trust corruption case by December 5.

The court also set the date December 5 for the appeal hearing in the Zia Charitable Trust Case.

A six-member bench headed by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain passed the order on Thursday morning.

On November 14, BNP Chairperson filed the appeal with the Appellate Division against a High Court order that rejected her bail plea in the same case.

A High Court bench, on July 31, rejected Khaleda's bail petition in the Zia Charitable Trust corruption case.

She was sentenced to seven years imprisonment in the graft case.
