3 more die in Keraniganj plastic factory fire

Three people, who received severe burn injuries in a fire at a plastic factory in South Keraniganj, Dhaka, died on Sunday. 

With this ones, the death toll rose to 17. The victims were identified as Razzaq, 45, Mostakin, 23 and Abu Sayeed, 23.

They died in the morning while undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery Intensive Care Unit (ICU), said the residential physician of the institute, Perth Shankar Pal.

He said that nine people were on life support at ICU. Razzaq died at around 7:30 am, Mostakin died at around 9.30 am and Abu Sayeed died at around 11:45 am.
