Forgive us for the mistake: PM

Regarding the list of Razakars published by the Ministry of Liberation War, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that this is not a list of Razakars in any way. 

"In no way, the freedom fighters can be given the title of Razakar. This has led us to misunderstandings. Those who are the members of the freedom fighters and martyrs will not feel pain in this regard. Forgive us for the mistake."

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said this while addressing at the meeting of Bangladesh

Awami League Central Working Committee at Ganabhaban on Wednesday ahead of the National Council of Awami League slated for December 20-21.

Sheikh Hasina is presiding over the meeting.

Calling for the patience of all, the Prime Minister said, "As head of the government, I have also the responsibility for the erroneous list of Razakars published by the Ministry of Liberation War." 

"It was our duty to scrutinize the issue seriously. I told the Liberation War Minister not to hurry up. However, now the Ministry of Liberation War and the Ministry of Home Affairs have been asked to look into the matter."
