Police file case over attack on VP Nur

Police have filed a case over the attack on Ducsu VP Nuhul Haque Nur and his supporters that left over 25 injured. 

The case was lodged with Shahbagh Police Station in the city on Monday night accusing some 35 people. Of them, eight accused were named in the case.

Muktijuddho and Dhaka University Chhatra League activists allegedly attacked VP Nur and his followers around 12:45 pm on Sunday at his office. The computers, chairs and furniture of the VP's room were vandalized during the attack.

At least 25 people of Bangladesh General Students' Rights Protection Council (BGSRPC), including Nur, were injured in the incident. 

The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
