Lowest temperature recorded in Tetulia

Bangladesh has recorded its lowest temperature at 4.5 degrees in Tetulia, Panchagarh.

A severe cold is prevailing through the northern district, said Tetulia Met branch acting official Md Rahidul Islam.

The lowest temperature was recorded at 4.5 degrees on Sunday morning, he said

In a weather forecast, Bangladesh Meteorological Department said mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rajshahi, Rangpur and Mymensingh divisions and the regions of Tangail, Kushtia & Srimangal and it may continue.

Cold wave condition may continue in the next 72 hours commencing from 9am on Sunday.

Night temperature may fall slightly and day temperature may rise slightly over the country, it said, adding that moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the country during mid-night to Monday morning.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it added.
