Coaching centres to be closed for one month during SSC exam

The Education Ministry has directed that all coaching centres in the country will have to be kept closed for one month starting from January 25 to February 25 as the SSC and equivalent examinations will start from February 1. 

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni gave the instructions at a press conference at the secretariat on Thursday.

The Education Minister said that it has been decided to close all coaching centres across the country for conducting SSC and equivalent examinations properly.

The minister further said that a total of 2,047,779 students will take part in the SSC and equivalent examinations this year. Of them, 1,022,336 students are male and 1,023,416 students are female.
