3 workers electrocuted in Hazaribagh

Three workers were killed and one more was injured in electrocution in Hazaribagh area of the capital. 

The accident took place around 10:45 am on Wednesday.

The deceased were identified as Zahur Sheikh, his brother Saiful Sheikh and Manjurul, said Inspector (Operation) Zakir Hossain of Hazaribagh Police Station.

He said that the work of piling was underway to establish the boundary pillars behind the Sikder Medical College Hospital in Hazaribagh. At that time, the pillar was touched unconsciously with the electric line, leaving three workers dead on the spot and one injured. 

Later, the injured was rescued and taken to Sikder Medical College Hospital.

The bodies were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMC) morgue for autopsy.
