82,422 students get primary school scholarship

A total of 82,422 students got scholarship in the Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee examinations held in 2019.

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain said while unveiling the results at the ministry’s conference room on Tuesday.

He said among them, 33,000 students got scholarship under a talent pool while 49,500 under general category.

The students who got scholarship under the talent pool will receive Taka 300 per month, while those under general category will get Taka 225 per month, he said.

The list of scholarship recipients is available on the Primary Education Department website – <www.dpe.gov.bd>.
