Bangladesh Corona cases crosses 1.75 lakh

Forty-one people have died from coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours in Bangladesh.

Besides, three thousand three hundred and sixty people have tested positive for the viral disease in the same period.

Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general (administration) of DGHS, made the disclosure during a briefing on Thursday.

The death toll now stands at 2,238 and the death rate at 1.28 percent, she informed.

Now, the total number of infections in the country is 1,75,494 with the new cases.

A total of 15,632 samples were tested in 76 labs across the country in the last 24 hours, she continued.

Meanwhile, 3,706 Covid-19 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours, raising the total number of recoveries to 84,544.
