Auto promotion news is a rumor: Education Ministry

The Ministry of Education has said that the news of auto promotion of students without exams is a rumor.

A statement signed by the ministry’s public relations officer Mohammad AbulKhair on Thursday said, the media which has published reports that students would be given auto promotion to the next class without examination in the educational institutions are baseless and rumors, reports BSS.

The Ministry of Education has not yet taken any decision regarding auto promotion, the release added.
