Former whip Ashraf Hossain passes away

Former whip Ashraf Hossain passed away at a city hospital in the early hours of Saturday at the age of 81.

Ashraf Hossain breathed his last around 4:30am at United Hospital in city, family sources said.

He had been suffering from diabetes and heart problems.

Ashraf Hossain left behind wife, two sons, one daughter as well as a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.

He will be buried at the family graveyard in Cumilla’s brahmanpara upazila this evening.
