US starts process to send back Bangabandhu's killer Rashed Chowdhury

The United States has started the process of sending back Rashed Chowdhury, the self-confessed murderer of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. 

US Attorney General Bill Barr has set a July 31 deadline for all parties to the response to the petition. 

Fifteen years ago, the United States granted asylum to Rashed, a former Bangladesh Army officer.
