3 witnesses of Sinha murder case arrested

Three people, who were made witnesses in Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan murder case filed by the police, have been arrested from Marishbunia in Cox's Bazar.

The three arrestees are Nurul Amin, Nizam Uddin and Md Ayash.

Lt Col Ashik Billah, director Legal and Media wing of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), said on Tuesday afternoon the members of the elite force made the arrest of the trio in connection with Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan murder case.

The RAB director said they have appealed before a Cox's Bazar court for 10-day remand for each of them to grill them on the murder.

Sinha was shot to death at a police check point on Marine Drive on July 31.
