OC Pradeep, among 3, put on remand in Sinha murder case

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has remanded three people, including OC Pradeep, who was sacked earlier, for questioning over the murder of retired army officer Sinha Md Rashed Khan.

They were taken into RAB custody from Cox's Bazar District Jail around 10:30 am on Tuesday.

Apart from OC Pradeep, the other two are the withdrawn Inspector Liakat Ali and Sub-Inspector (SI) Nandadulal Rakshit of the Baharchhara Shamlapur Police Investigation Centre in Teknaf.

Cox's Bazar District Jail Superintendent Mokammel Hossain confirmed the information to The Daily Samakal.

When the accused surrendered to the Cox's Bazar Magistrate's Court on August 6, the judge granted a seven-day remand each.
