Mother, son found dead in Jamalpur house

Police have recovered the bodies of a woman and her son from their home in Jamalpur's Madarganj upazila.

Their bodies were recovered from their house in Char Gopalpur Purba Para area of ​​the upazila on Wednesday morning. Signs of injuries were found on the bodies of the two victims.

The deceased were identified as Moslema Akhter Shikha, 33, wife of Harunur Rashid of Char Gopalpur Purba Para and her son Tauhid, 9. Harunur Rashid was taken to the police station for questioning.

Madarganj Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam said  the woman and her son were killed at Harunur Rashid's house at some time on Tuesday night. Both of them have marks of injuries on their bodies.
