No exams for primary students if schools not reopened

Primary and Mass Education Ministry said that there will be no examinations if schools cannot be reopened this year.

But if the schools can resume activities in October or November, then the ministry will consider evaluation of the students to promote them to the new grades.

Akram-Al-Hossain, Primary and Mass Education Senior Secretary, said this while addressing a press conference at Secretariat on Sunday.

The senior secretary said the students of kindergarten schools can get admission in the local government primary schools to control dropout if kindergarten schools are bound to close down due to fund crisis over the pandemic situation.
