Govt shuts Hathazari madrasa

The Ministry of Education on Thursday ordered the closure of Al Jameyatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam Madrasa, also known as Hathazari Madrasa, in Chattogram's Hathazari upazila until further notice.

The Technical and Madrasa Education Division of the Ministry issued a notice in this regard, said a handout from the ministry.

Hathazari Madrasa was allowed to resume its academic activities on condition of following health guidelines on August 24.

But the institute has been closed again as it violated the regulations imposed by the government.
