Private universities allowed to take exams

The Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) has given the opportunity of practical classes and examinations for the students of private universities with special consideration.

Only students who are in the final semester of undergraduate and postgraduate will avail of this chance. 

It will be implemented in compliance with strict hygiene rules. In this case, a distance of at least six feet should be maintained between the two students during class and examination.

The decision was taken at the UGC's virtual meeting on Tuesday. 

According to the meeting decision, maximum 10 students can take part in lab class and examination in one day and only one class can be taken in one day.
