D, F units of DU admission tests not to be held from next year

Honours first year admission tests will be taken in three units (Science, Arts and Business) of Dhaka University (DU) from next academic year. 

As a result, the admission test of ‘D’ of the Faculty of Social Sciences and ‘F’ of the Faculty of Fine Arts will be abolished. 

However, this year the admission tests will be held as per the previous rules.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Deans’ Committee of the university on Sunday with Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman in the chair.
