Primary students to be promoted to next class

The government has given directives to promote the primary students to the next classes without any exams due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In this regard, Primary Education Department on Monday sent letters to its all divisional deputy directors, district education officers, upazila/thana education officer and head teachers.

The government has directed all primary schools of the country to promote their respective students to upper class through individual assessments conducted by teachers.

Director General of Directorate of Primary Education Alamgir Muhammad Mansurul Alam said all primary students will get promotion. 

The students will be assessed by their respective institutions but their roll number will remain same in the next class.
