Voting in 64 more municipalities on Jan 30

The third phase of the polls will be held on January 30 in 64 municipalities of the country. 

The Election Commission announced the schedule of the election on Monday afternoon. 

At the time, the Secretary of the Election Commission Secretariat Alamgir announced the election schedule.

According to the schedule, those who want to be candidates in the election can submit nomination papers till December 31. Selection of nomination papers is on  January 3 and last date for withdrawal of candidature is January 10.

The schedule for the first and second rounds of voting has already been announced. 

According to Alamgir, the first phase will be held on December 28 in 25 municipalities and the second phase will be held on January 16 in 61 municipalities.
