4 killed in Sylhet road crash

Four people, including a child, were killed when a gas cylinder of a private car exploded in the Hetimganj area of the Sylhet-Beanibazar road as it hit truck from behind. The accident took place in front of Mollagram Government Primary School in Hetimganj West Bazar area around 5:30 am on Wednesday.

Three of the dead were passengers of a private car while the other is a local child. Initially, the police could not identify the victims.

Golapganj Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Harunur Rashid Chowdhury said the bodies were recovered and sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue.
