4 engineering universities in indecision over cluster admission system

The four engineering and technology universities of the country have not yet taken a final decision to take the admission test in cluster system in the coming 2020-2021 academic year.

The University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) held an exchange meeting with the vice-chancellors of BUET, RUET, CUET and CUET on Wednesday to take admission test in cluster system.

UGC Chairman Prof Kazi Shahidullah presided over the virtual meeting attended by the Vice-Chancellor of the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr Abdul Jabbar Khan, Vice-Chancellor of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr Md Rafiqul Islam Sheikh, Vice-Chancellor of Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr Mohammad Rafiqul Alam, Vice-Chancellor of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr Kazi Sazzad Hossain.
