Nur Hossain gets life sentence in arms case

Nur Hossain, an accused in Narayanganj seven-murder, has been sentenced to life imprisonment in a arms case.

Judge Sabina Yasmin of Narayanganj Additional District and Sessions Judge's Court passed the order in presence of the accused on Wednesday noon.

The court also acquitted Nur and seven of his associates in extortion case as the charges brought against Nur and his aides could not be proved.

In 2014, police filed three cases against Nur under the arms act. Moreover, Nur Hossain is accused in Narayanganj seven-murder and five other cases.
