Light rain or drizzle likely in six divisions

Light rain or drizzle is likely to occur at one or two places over six divisions including Dhaka in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am on Wednesday.

The six divisions are Dhaka and Mymensingh, Sylhet, Khulna, Barishal & Chattogram, said a bulletin of Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD), reports UNB.

Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country, it said.

About the synoptic situation, BMG said trough of low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area and seasonal low lies over South Bay.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight till morning and it may continue at places over the country till noon.

Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
