DU halls will reopen on March 13

The Dhaka University (DU) authorities have decided to reopen the residential halls, which were closed for almost a year due to the Corona pandemic, from March 13.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the university's academic council on Sunday.

According to the authorities, in the first phase, only the final year undergraduate and postgraduate students will stay in the dormitories. 

From February 7, the Registrar's Building of Dhaka University will be kept open regularly and from that day, the transport movement of the university will resume experimentally.

Earlier on Tuesday, the university's provost standing committee recommended that the halls might be reopened by the first week of March.
