Irfan Selim secures bail

The court has granted bail to Irfan Selim, son of Dhaka-7 MP Haji Selim and suspended commissioner of Dhaka South City Corporation’s Ward No 30.

Dhaka Additional District Magistrate Bhaskar Debnath Bappi on Tuesday granted bail in both the cases filed against him.

Irfan Selim’s lawyer Shree Pran Nath confirmed the information to the media.

A RAB mobile court sentenced him to one year and six months in prison in two cases for illegally keeping alcohol and walkie-talkies at home. 

On October 25, Irfan's associates beat Navy Lieutenant Wasif Ahmad Khan. Then Irfan came to the matter of discussion after filing cases against him.
