State Minister Enamur infected with coronavirus

Dr Enamur Rahman, the state minister for disaster management and relief, has tested positive for Covid-19.

According to a handout from the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, Dr Enam is being treated at Enam Medical College Hospital in Savar.

He underwent a coronavirus test on Saturday, it said, adding that the result came out on Sunday.

His personal secretary Khandaker Md Mushfiqur Rahman and assistant personal secretary Shamim Ahmed are in quarantine.
