No gate on Gabtali-Savar road on Independence Day

The government has prohibited erecting three- dimensional or box shaped gates on the road from Gabtoli to the National Memorial in Savar marking the Independence and National Day 2021, to be observed on March 26.

The Liberation War Affairs Ministry took a decision in this regard recently, said an official handout here on Monday, reports BSS.

The ministry also decided to limit hanging of posters, banners and festoons on the roadsides by maintaining safe distance.

The Liberation War Affairs Ministry, in another official handout, urged all the people, who will place wreaths on the Independence and National Day at the national monument, not to damage the beauty of the flower garden in memorial area.
