Bodies of mother, son recovered from Korail slum

Police have recovered the bodies of a woman and her son from Karail slum in the capital's Banani on Tuesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Hasi Begum, 28, and her son Nirab Hossain, 8, Banani police sub-inspector Ahsan Habib told The Daily Samakal.

He said that the locals informed police after seeing the bodies on the lake side adjacent to Boubazar in Karail slum. Later, a team of Banani Police Station went to the spot and recovered the bodies.
