Secondary schools, colleges to reopen on May 23: Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dipu Moni said all secondary schools and colleges across the country will reopen on May 23, after the Eid-ul-Fitr.

The decision came from a meeting with National Technical Advisory Committee on coronavirus on Thursday, said a press statement.

During the ongoing closure of the institutions, online classes will continue, it added.

On February 27, the government announced that all schools and colleges will be reopening on March 30. 

The government has kept all educational institutions closed since March 17 of last year due to Coronavirus pandemic.
