Modi joins golden jubilee of independence, birth centenary of Bangabandhu programs

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi has attended the Golden Jubilee of Independence and the birth centenary celebrations of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. 

President Abdul Hamid was present as the chief guest while Modi arrived at the National Parade Square on Friday afternoon as the guest of honor.

Modi was received by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at the National Parade Square. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was accompanied by her younger sister Sheikh Rehana.

The theme of the last day of the 10-day program titled 'Mujib Chirantan' is '50 Years of Independence and the Golden Line of Progress'. 

Modi will address the discussion session of the program.
