Mamunul Haque arrested

Maulana Mamunul Haque, the joint secretary general of Hefazat-e-Islam, has been arrested.

Police arrested him from Jamia Rahmania Arabia Madrasa in the capital's Mohammadpur on Sunday afternoon, Tejgaon police DC Mohammad Harun Ur Rashid told The Daily Samakal.

He said there was an arrest warrant against Mamunul Haque in a case filed in 2013.
