Public transport likely to resume from April 29: Quader

The government is actively considering resuming public transport services after the ongoing lockdown ends on April 28, said Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

He said this while speaking at a virtual views exchange meeting with the officials of Barishal Zone BRTC and BRTA from his residence in Dhaka.

He said public transports have to keep 50 percent seats vacant and would be allowed to charge the re-fixed fare. 

Moreover, health rules must be followed, he said.
