Those involved in misdeeds inhuman: Home Minister

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that those who committed atrocities, cruelty and oppression under the banner of Hefazat are not human beings as Islam is the religion of peace.

He said this after inspecting the houses damaged by Hefazat men in Munshiganj's Sirajdikhan on Friday afternoon.

“I have personally come here and seen it. I promise you that we will identify all those involved in this violence and bring them to justice,” he gave words to the audience.

Hefazat workers vandalized and set fire to the house of Rajnagar union unit Awami League President SM Alamgir Kabir and nine other houses in the area in Sirajdithan upazila of Munshiganj on March 28 following a strike called by Hefazat-e-Islam.
