600,000 more Sinopharm vaccines arrive

The second consignment of 600,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccine has arrived in Bangladesh on Sunday afternoon.

The doses came as a gift from the Chinese government just nine days after the arrival of the first batch of 500,000 doses of gifted vaccine in Bangladesh.

The consignment, including the jabs and syringes, was brought to Bangladesh by two C-130J aircrafts of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF), AHM Touhid-ul Ahsan, executive director of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, told The Daily Samakal.

The line director of the MNC & AH operational plan of the Department of Health Md. Shamsul Haque and EPI's program manager Maula Box was present to take the vaccine.
