Pori Moni in DB office

Actress Pori Moni has reached the Detective Branch (DB) police office in the capital to talk over 'rape and attempted murder' case for conducting interrogation.

She reached the DB office around 3.30 pm on Tuesday.

"We have called Pori Moni as the plaintiff in the case," a senior detective told The Daily Samakal. “The police will listen to her statement.”

“After interrogating the accused in the case, some information was found and we would also need to talk to Pori Moni about those issues,” said the high-ranking official of the detective police.

Pori Moni filed a case with Savar Police Station on Monday alleging rape and attempted murder. That afternoon, DB police arrested five people, including Nasir Uddin Mahmood and Tuhin Siddiqui, the main accused in the case.

On Sunday evening, Pori Moni alleged rape and attempted murder in a status on her verified Facebook page. In the post, she sought the intervention of the Prime Minister to get justice.
